Apple Pro Display XDR

The Pro Display XDR is a 32‑inch Retina 6K display designed for the highest standards of visual fidelity. It offers a resolution of 6016 × 3384 pixels and supports the P3 wide color gamut with true 10‑bit depth. Its Extreme Dynamic Range (XDR) allows sustained full‑screen brightness at 1000 nits and a peak brightness of 1600 nits for HDR content. With a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1 and 576 local dimming zones, it delivers deep blacks and brilliant highlights. The display is fully laminated with low reflectivity (1.65%) and supports superwide viewing angles of 89° in all directions. True Tone and ambient light sensors adapt the display to surrounding lighting for more natural viewing. Connection is via a single Thunderbolt 3 port (96W) plus three USB‑C ports for peripherals. Available in standard or nano‑texture glass finishes (the latter to reduce glare), it requires careful cleaning protocols. The Pro Stand (or VESA mount adapter) is sold separately, offering tilt, height adjustment, and portrait orientation. Designed for pros in video, photography, design, and color grading, it is a reference monitor built to meet demanding creative workflows.

VARUD means danger zone in Iceland 🇮🇸. This website is my personal version of that zone - filled with design, minimalism, and everything dangerously aesthetic. My wishlist keeps getting longer (and pricier) every day. So I turned temptation into curation — a space to admire without always buying.
